Three years of friendship bonding is borned on 2005, in Kent Ridge Secondary School.
Looking back, I started to reminisce. I remember the first day of school, I was so lonely and scared. My legs were trembling, my heart was beating faster and faster till I can feel that it was going to leap out from my mouth. I was shaking with fear. I don’t wish to be left alone for the whole day. Just then, a girl almost as small as I am, wearing the same uniform as I am, stepped up to me. The simple greeting from her really warmed my heart. She introduced herself as Misheel, from Mongolia. The first impression I had of her was a happy-go-lucky girl, sociable and sporty. Soon, we started to chat about our personal life in class.
The student councilors then brought us around the school to let us feel more familiar with the surroundings. We had ice breaker games. Its really fun as I could make new friends during the game and also to get to know each other better. I was quite satisfied with the school as I counted myself lucky to be able to make new friends on the first day in a totally strange and unfamiliar place.
I remember vividly that Msheel and I went home together and we had a long chat as if we known each other for years. Unknowingly, through those years till now, we became best of friends and I made myself some other very close friends too.
