My favourite food

What is my favourite food? Ranging from pizzas to Chinese noodles. There’s just too much to be named! For me, perhaps food that could fill my stomach is my favourite food! In any other cases, food from posh restaurants is simply delicious and pretty! In addition, the price of the dishes is very pretty to look at too! To think about it, that’s obviously true. Look at the high costs of the dishes. A plain beef steak could actually rise up to the price of thirty plus or even more. Why? Blame it on the high expenses of the restaurants. But as the saying goes, you pay for what you deserve. If you can’t bear to part with large amounts of money, then try considering hawker food.
Food from hawker centres may not be as bad compared to food from the posh restaurants. But that really depends on one’s personal taste bud. As for me, if I have to really pick one main dish from hawker centres, it would be chicken rice. There are few reasons for my choice. Let me explain why.
Firstly, chicken rice is easily accessible. Be it in shopping centres to canteen food stores, the craving for chicken rice could be easily satisfied.
Although it is very common, but think about it, it is cheap and yummy. In addition, it could fill your stomach without you having to worry whether you are going to go on a hunger strike after a few hours.
Secondly, chicken rice is a hot favorite among my Chinese and Malay friends. Whenever we have a lunch or dinner together, it’s always hard to decide what we wish to eat as some of the food is not halal. Therefore, we decided to settle for halal chicken rice as everyone has agreed on. It’s always felt good that friends could get together and lunch.

Lastly, chicken rice is actually famous in Singapore, well known as ‘food paradise’ So the main thing is that not just expensive food could be famous and tempting but humbly dishes like chicken rice and laksa could fit the bill too.

We don’t have to spend extravagant money just to eat good food. Just a plate of chicken rice could make your day too =)
